Mayer's Restaurant

Since May 2004 Andreas Mayer works as chef in his own restaurant named MAYER’s at the castle hotel Schloss Prielau in Zell am See, Austria. From the first moment on he got high attention by the gourmet world in Austria and worldwide. Within six months Mayer was decorated with the first star from Guide Michelin. Within the next two years he earned even the second star.

Mayer loves to play with aromas and his dishes look like art. But the most impressing moment for the young Bavarian star cooker is the satisfaction of his guests. To hear a deep “Mmmmhh…” at the table and to look into happy and fascinated faces.
