In MAYER’s Restaurant at Schloss Prielau, Andreas Mayer, decorated with two stars from the Michelin Guide among others, leads his kitchen crew. The gourmet cuisine has a French direction with intense aromas. The dishes and culinary creations retain a handcrafted look and are presented with plenty of love for detail.
Most of the produce comes straight from the area around Schloss Prielau and the Pinzgau region, with some coming from the castle’s own stock. Andreas Mayer has a great respect for sustainability and makes organic quality a priority.
“The area is rich in first-class products that I just love offering my guests. They guarantee the best possible freshness and keep aromas in their original form,” says Andreas Mayer.
At weddings and events the kitchen team led by Andreas Mayer reach their full potential: from small canapées over BBQ in the castle's park to a 10-course Gourmet menu - every wish will be fulfilled.
